They say homo sapiens, or humans, if you prefer, are comparatively vulnerable in terms of physicality. However, looking at our history vulnerability is a complex topic.
Today I was looking through my old journals, diaries and notebooks from elementary school till now. While searching I found an old unfinished poem which I think still fits well with the current situation of the world. The poem was written in Greek – I was still in high school so my English were still not as good – so I will first write it in Greek and then I’ll try to translate it.
And here is the translation:
The Biggest Fear
Human I’m scared of you
I’m scared to run, to play
I’m scared
I don’t know where to go
I don’t know what to do
I see huge monsters,
Nasty and horrific
I’m scared
Human I’m scared of you
I’m scared to talk, to dance
I’m scared
I want to live, to laugh
To feel again
Remember how it was before
When you were free, happy, alive
Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoyed it:) Let me know your thoughts!
