Hello everyone, I’ve been posting on Stories of Yesterday for a while now, but I never really introduced myself. So, greetings everyone, my name is Lydia, I am 26 years old, and I am from Cyprus.
At the age of 18, I moved to Leeds in the UK for my studies. I then decided to move to the Czech Republic and try something different. In the end, I stayed there last December. Now, I am back in the UK until I unexpectedly decide to move to another place:)
Obviously, I love travelling, but my other hobbies are reading books, fiction, and non-fiction, and I love music. In fact, I love exploring different genres and musicians from all over the world. At the moment, I am obsessed with the Japanese singer Kenshi Yonezu. Lastly, my two big loves are cats and chocolate.
Something that I enjoyed since I was a kid, and is one of the reasons I love travelling, is history. I grew up with Greek mythology as bedtime stories, and I ended up loving learning about ancient civilisations. So, whenever I travel, I enjoy visiting any historical monuments and museums. But in general, I am a very curious person, and I like learning new things. So, you could say I’m very nerdy since I love reading and researching. I am one of those who, if I hear of something I do not know of, I will immediately search about it on our good old friend google.
A few of my favourite things are my mum’s food, Cape Gregko in Cyprus, the book The House by the River by Lena Manta, and hot chocolate. Unexpected things about me, I do tarot readings, I like numerology, and lastly, but not least, I am a demisexual.
So, it is nice to meet you, everyone:)

Thanks for reading 🙂
